Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
To apply for the Various Sports post:
- For GP 1800 (7th CPC Pay Matrix Level – 01): The candidate should have a minimum qualification of 10th Pass/ITI or Equivalent.
- For GP 1900/2000 (7th CPC Pay Matrix Level – 02/03): The candidate should have the minimum qualification of Intermediate or Equivalent Examination passed from any Recognized Board.
- For GP 2400/2800 (7th CPC Pay Matrix Level – 04/05): The candidate should minimum qualification of degree or its equivalent. Exam passed from a recognized university/Institution.
- For Technical Posts, candidates shall pass Act Apprenticeship/ITI. The Certificate of Act Apprenticeship/ITI must be approved by SCVT/NCVT.
Age Limit (as of 01-01-2025)
- Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
- Maximum Age limit: 25 Years
- Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.
Experience
- For appointment against sports quota in Technician–III, the minimum educational qualification should be prescribed as 10th pass. However, the training period for such Sports quota appointees will be 3 (three) Years unless they pass ITI qualification in the relevant Trade, in which case it will be 6 months.
