Eligibility Criteria
For Re-Engagement of Retired Staff :
- Must have retired normally (not under safety-related schemes like LARSGESS).
- Should be medically fit for re-engagement.
- Should have at least a “Good” APAR rating in the last 5 years.
- Free from DAR/Vigilance cases.

- Maximum Age limit: 65 Years
- Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.
Job Role Description
- Position: Re-engagement of Retired Staff (Contractual Basis)
- Organization: Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR)
- Location: Various Units/Divisions/Workshops of NFR
- Contract Type: Monthly remuneration basis (based on last pay minus pension)
- Targeted Employees: Retired railway employees in Pay Level-1 to Pay Level-9
- Age Limit: Must be below 64 years as of 28 February 2025. The maximum age limit for re-engagement is 65 years.
- Contract Duration: Initially 1 year, extendable based on performance or until the age of 65.
